At The Biltong Shop, we understand that many of our customers love the rich flavour that comes from fattier cuts of Biltong. Unfortunately, due to seasonal changes, the cattle we source from have less fat than usual.

This fluctuation in fat content is a natural outcome of the farming cycle and is something we occasionally face during certain times of the year.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Fattier Biltong: If you prefer Biltong with more fat, we’re still offering it, but there may be longer delivery times while we manage supply.
• Leaner Biltong: For those who prefer quicker delivery, we recommend opting for leaner cuts, which are more readily available.
